Good service...best oyster stew in Reno (it is not on the menu...order the oyster pan roast & tell them you want the stew)....large oysters...8 or more in each bowl...sour dough bread, crackers, & more...you will not be disappointed. Other items on the menu are above average, but the stew is reccommended.

After hearing a number of disappointing comments about changes at the Oyster Bar... we just had to go again, if for no other reason than ol' times sake. We were so surprised and delighted to find the same atmosphere and many of the tried and true recipe favorites!! We enjoyed 2 dinners here and all was as good as ever!!... More

We love the clam chowder. Big rolls for dipping in the chowder. Tasty shrimp cocktail. We love it. We eat there every stay.

We stopped into the Oyster bar for an appetizer before going to a dinner at a nearby restaurant. Quite pleasantly surpised at the high quality of the seafood and great service. Highly recommend this restaurant.

... that south-of-France delight and a favorite of mine, bouillabaisse. Well, at least is this part of Nevada. Don't even have to leave the country. Their 'pan roasts' are very nice also. The combination, my favorite. Definitely worth a try. A good value too.

John A , here made this resturant a big piece of Sparks history that lives on. I have enjoyed this pan roast over 44 yrs, it opened in 1959 and John Ascuaga took it over in 1960 great service for and atmosphere. The new owners have kept the quality and name consistant with its past history.

Hotel needs some employees, there we lots of open tables, but the wait was almost an hour. The hotel is severely understaffed and half the restaurants are closed.

My Grandparents, parents and now my grand kids have all eaten at this restaurant over many, many years. We love it, sometimes just a shrimp cocktail, clam chowder soup and bread, sometimes shrimp and lobster and bread, but always bread. All the food items we have ever had are great, cooked right, always fresh, cant go wrong. Best place in... More

I love this place. The seafood is fresh and tastes wonderful. I especially love the lobster roll with it's big chunks of juicy plump pieces of lobster. You don't need to go to Maine for one when you can have one here.
