Stopped through on our way through town and tried their breakfast. All of the menu items included eggs on the breakfast menu and while the food was good, it wasn't particularly flavorful - we requested more salsa and hot sauce on the side to spice it up. Try the mimosas with breakfast.

Okay as you can tell this is a Mexican restaurant they serve the typical Mexican type foods but you do get a lot for the price. Wife and I stopped here on our trip to South Lake Tahoe and it was great and I am not a Mexican food type of person but it was still good.

Stopped in Winnemucca for Sunday meal on a weekend road trip. We got there just after noon, lucky for us because it wasn't too busy yet. An hour later the place was packed with mostly locals. I ordered a chile relleno and Hubby got some kind of stuffed burrito. My chile relleno was perfect: slightly smoky, crispy-layered-with-melting cheese and very... More

When I drove up I was a bit concerned but the food was delicious and portions very generous. The Chimichanga was cooked to perfection.

Friendly folks make it easy to order some great food to take back to motel, their mole is wonderful, as are their tamales

It's weird to say this place has the best fajitas I've ever eaten, but it really does. If you are driving through this is where you NEED to stop. The fajitas are large enough to share AND have extras for the next day (for two people).

Had carnitas tacos and Carne asada tacos. Both delicious and very flavorful. Salsa homemade. Great find in Winnemucca. Highly recommend it.

While staying in Winnemucca, NV, we stopped into Chihuahua's for lunch at the suggestion of a friend. We just missed the lunch crowd and service was quick. I had a chicken sope and a chili relleno with rice and beans. Wife had a carne asada nacho plate. Both were very good. When the server says the plates are hot, trust... More

We made a quick stop in Winnemucca and stopped by Chihuahua's for dinner. We were not disappointed and the food was fantastic. I had the taco combo and my wife had the chimichanga and both were excellent. This would have been a 5 star review except for the long wait we had to get our food (it was very busy... More
