This restaurant has been around forever. The location is excellent, right on 101W. The setting, yards, etc. are excellent. It is a country like atmosphere. There is a large dining room, with high end food and there is a bar, serving drinks and lunches. The atmosphere is very country like. The prices are a little high, but you get what... More

Nice service. Tavern type food notched - up a bit. French dip sandwich was very tasty but more like a steak & cheese sub ( shaved small pieces of meat). Parmesan fries were delivered perfectly warm. The quinoa salad got rave reviews and looked interesting. Chocolate bag desert deserves a standing ovation in presentation, especially, as well as the quality... More

I must have said "WOW" a hundred times! The moment we entered inside, with all of the beautiful flowers (Valentines Day), the service was amazing the meal delicious! I found everything about the Bedford Village Inn to like a dream

A beautiful inn-like experience - in room fireplaces and wonderful breakfasts! Highly recommend for business or family travel. And be sure to try the Copper Door for lunch or dinner (right around the corner)

We have had enjoyed many fine dinners at the BVI over the past 10 years. The food selection and presentation is impressive. The staff is very professional and attentive. They make your dining experience special. They have an outstanding wine list and their desert menu is very good. We had brunch one weekend and it was very good also. This... More

went here for my birthday - to our surprise - there was no wait! our meals were tasty, not over the top. we liked the environment there - not too dressy but not jeans and t-shirts. a little on the noisy side - as my husband is hard of hearing and we sat close to the kitchen. next time we... More

My husband, myself, and another couple met this evening at the Bedford Village Inn, our first time. Exquisite ambience, but the food was little more than OK. To start with, the bread was cold – and in a restaurant this fancy it should have been warmed. Each couple split a salad and ours was so small that the chef would... More

We want to like BVI; it's supposed to be exquisite. But after several visits, we're done with it. I've gotten sick from the oysters (on $1 oyster night in the summer) and yesterday my husband got sick from brunch - he had a burger. There was no one else in the place aside from our party of eight, so maybe... More

Walking in you sense you are in an historic federal building. Many nooks and crannys to explore. Look around to see ancient fireplaces and interesting pictures. Had brunch on a Sunday visiting my daughter. You can tell much thought has been given to the menu choices. Different combinations of old standbys. Fresh made breads served on the table. Prices very... More

Great food. Good prices. Warm and cozy. The best of everything . Easy parking. Inviting atmosphere. High end place with low dress acceptance. Feel right at home.
