These people nailed it. There are terrific specials everyday which show some culinary skill and some creativity. The staff is friendly and considerate. The chefs (Pete and re-Pete) will come out to the tables and thank you for visiting. The food is excellent. The salad bar is one of my favorites. Fresh food prepared with care. The wood stove cranks... More

The Appleseed Restaurant is a no-frills, homey place with great food, friendly service, and affordable prices. I live in Bradford, so we visit here several times during the year, especially when we want to go someplace nice that won't break the bank. If you're in the area, a nice place to stop for dinner. And, in the summer months, you... More

All dinners came with the salad bar, Nice selection of toppings for your salad. My only complaint that the food was all bland. Plus the streaks were cooked wrong. I didn't want to waste the food so we just ate it the way they gave it to us. Not many area restaurants around, so we ate here, but I must... More

The Appleseed is a hidden gem - real made from scratch home cooking in a quiet, pleasant setting. There is an outside deck overlooking a lake to enjoy in warm weather. It's a bit off the beaten path, but worth the trip.

The Appleseed Restaurant won me over before I ever tasted anything, when I saw the variety of items in their salad bar. It wasn't a huge salad bar, but how often do you find artichoke hearts and real bacon pieces (not fake bacon bits)? Our meals were also quite good. Not a gourmet menu -- just tasty home-style cooking, which... More

Local establishment with very good food. Probably the best place in town for a good meal. Decent beer selection and cold. On a nice day you can sit by the lake.

Love this charming place for Sunday brunch. Price and food are superb. Homemade cinnamon buns are the best we've ever had and just keep coming. Down home cooking and friendly atmosphere.

Excellent country home style meals; great atmosphere in the tavern with good music and socialization. The staff is very accommodating, friendly and proficient. We always have a good time at the "Seed"!
