Decor is great!!! For those of us visiting from out of town, this is a nice place for great food, relaxing vibe and NH goodness! Good bar, nice selection of food, we loved the strawberry shortcake! Bartender is extremely kind! Always a plus. We can't wait to go back with our toddler time around.

We stopped here at the end of a drive to Mt Washington. We were tired and in need of revitalization. We found that in our waiter, Conor. He is definitely an asset. He was personable, fun and helpful. The restaurant is cozy and well appointed with a great view of the river. Plus its located right at the bottom of... More

We are the family of 4 from New York City were returning from the day of skiing in the area. Since we enjoy local country dining, after reading reviews we decided to dine at the Country Cow Restaurant. The food was delicious, we shared, soups, lamb burger and chicken wings with loaded potatoes in the skillet and the signature drinks... More

Service was slow which was strange because at some points we were the only customers in the restaurant. The staff was rushing around like it was packed, forgot drinks etc. they were all out of a lot of items on the menu, including the two dishes we were interested in. We did get free drinks when our second round never... More

The go to restaurant for work, family, and friends-From a work perspective we have meetings/dinner here, a great place to meet a friend for a drink and a chat. This is an everybody knows your name place but not intimidating to walk in solo....My advice-if you get something and do not like it-say something-and if its not rectified by all... More

The restaurant was redone by the Food Network last year and reflects the changes made. The menu is diverse and the food is well prepared. A rare hamburger was actually served rare, something many restaurants are unable to do reliably. Chicken pot pie was a hit with the group, as were the fish and the salads. The kitchen did a... More

Recently, a large group of us were in New Hampshire for a youth hockey tournament. We arrived Friday and on a recommendation from our hotel, we went to The Country Cow. We had a fabulous meal and the staff was absolutely wonderful. We ordered take out dinner from them the following night and we able to enjoy the bar area... More
