Located near the Hannover Inn. Service a bit slow compared to other restaurants. Good portions, choice of spice level, selection of dishes. Simple setting, relax clothing code.

My cousin and I had a wonderful dinner here last night. We started with shrimp pakora which was in a lovely light chickpea batter. It was delicious. I ordered chicken tikka masalla which I asked for spicy, between madras and vindaloo and it was perfect. My cousin had lamb danshik and that was delicious too. The owner waited on us... More

Jewel of India produces reasonably good Indian food. Unfortunately the service is terrible. The staff is rude and they seem irritated that you are there bothering them. I occasionally go there for the food and try to ignore the staff.

Have been many times and always enjoyed the food. Service on the other hand has been very uneven, sometimes terrible. Last night, however, things were different with the staff. The lady who has been there forever and I assume is the co-owner was really pleasant with me as I entered and spoke and smiled. That was a first for me.... More

My office hosted a luncheon for the President of Kosovo today and if it wasn't for the Jewel of India it would have been a complete disaster! I had arranged for an Indian lunch to be delivered by a local restaurant. However, the owner forgot about the order (he is having health problems) and I only found out 27 minutes... More

Simply authentic experience! The atmosphere is enticing, and the food prep obviously the " real thing"!

Loved the vegetable samosas. And the sweet lassi. Our meal was tasty. Service was fine, could have been better, but adequate. And the main dishes were yummy. Loved the way the restaurant smelled. We would definitely go back.

We've been eating here for years - so much so that my kids (not of Indian descent) think of it as "comfort food". It has been run by a family for years and very pleasant. Food is great. Certainly not the kind of fare you'd find in a top-end restaurant in a major city, but nonetheless quality, tasty Indian food.

We've come back here several times. The food is delicious and good value. Service is a bit slow but cordial. One of the Indian meals I enjoyed the most!
