We stopped here and while the beers were great, food was nothing special and the staff was super slow...and didn't seem to care...we were there almost 2hrs just for lunch.

My husband and I love to support local breweries, but this one we weren't impressed with. The food wasn't anything to brag about and the beer was mediocre. We've never visited again.

We all enjoyed our meals - each of us ordered a different entree. Most selections were British pub fare. I had the fish and chips...would order again.

Went here for the microbrews, ordered a flight, like all except the stour which was more bitter than expected - was expecting more of a Guiness taste. Food was good, ordered a pasty which came with some pickled veggies, should have ordered some fries to fill up. Good atmostphere tho, it was Karaoke night and some of those folks were... More

Pastrami sandwich AND onion rings were out of this world!! Hubby got chicken club sandwich and he enjoyed it. Both were served w yummy coleslaw. The downside and only reason for 4 stars is because they were cleaning the taps and didn't have any of their brewed beers to offer so we got an outside IPA. Waitress was super nice... More

Swung in for lunch on 10/10/16 at about 100PM. Haven't been in about 8 months. They were out of fish and other menu items. Beer was good, service was good. Food was hurting. Ordered two of the Country Clubs, one with fries and other with Rings. The rings were hot(the highlight of the meal), fries luke warm. The chicken on... More

First three tries we went for on the menu were swings and misses. Nope. Out of that beer. Sorry. We don't have that cider. Gee. Sorry again. Of the two soups we offer we don't have the one you requested. So I ended up with the worst club sandwich ever. The chicken breast was dry, chewy and even stale. Like... More

Went to get our favorite brew (oatmeal stout), but they were out of it. Other offerings seemed to be light sweet ales. Yuk! Then discovered that they were out of beef burgers, but did offer chicken. Yuk again. Also learned that their soup is potato leek, another yuk. No onion, which had been good, no chowder either. So, three strikes... More

We were looking for a mid-priced place on our return from Canada that we could get a meal and have a draft beer or IPA, and this did not disappoint. We had an excellent attentive waitress, and the food was just fine, with a good selection. It is, after all, a British style pub.

This pub is well located and within walking distance of the Fireside inn. The food was very good and it is a brew pub so there was a nice selection of beers.
