We have lived in the area for 12 years, and just discovered Tim-bir alley last year. In traveling for business & pleasure I have eaten a number of restaurants, but this restaurant has given me a new category to judge them buy, Artfulness. Not only was the food, service, and pricing GREAT, but the plating is a work of art

Tim-Bir Alley is our favorite restaurant when my husband and I come to the Franconia area. We love the array of veggies that come with each entree -- to other reviewers it may be overwhelming, to us it makes the plates interesting and each vegetable side dish is perfection. The prices are very reasonable and the portions generous. The hostess/waitress... More

We had dinner here tonight. It was referred to a friend by their innkeeper in Bethlehem. The meal was outstanding. The service was good. Located on the main street in downtown. Small restaurant with only 10 tables. Definitely need to make reservations. A significant point of importance is that they only take cash or checks, no credit cards.

Totally agree with the other reviewer about this place. For a little bistro in a small New Hampshire tourist town, it was just "too". Too much stuff I didn't ask for on my plate; purees, veggies, and LOTS of parsley. Too quiet, we could barely hear our server speak. Too focused on details to be friendly, hardly a word or... More

Everything about this place is 5 stars! Salmon and cod dishes were so good👍🏻. The cheesecake dessert was wonderful! The rolls were different and heavenly and the complimentary salad and truffles were delish!! Price was excellent!

We have friends that have been looking for really good restaurants in the White Mountains. We have been here several times so we drove up. Our friends were impressed. Great food, reasonable prices, good service.

Unfortunately I didn't read the one terrible review, but looking at the many positive comments about this restaurant, I probably wouldn't have believed it if I had. We had exactly the same experience on a recent visit. Our plates were a confusion of vegetables, miscellaneous purees and accompaniments with parsley scattered everywhere. The flavours were dire- it was truly one... More

Atmosphere was nice. and unique. Service was good but they seemed to hold tables for the regulars. A little pricey but the food was good but odd. The sides you get are way too many and overwhelming. Kinda like Thanksgiving dinner. They should cut back and serve them with one starch and one veggie. Wine selection was a little limited... More
