We went on Mother’s day and the place was packed. We had reservation and was seated promptly. The waitress seamed overwhelmed and was not attentive to our sight impaired person’s needs. When our sight impaired ordered she was not offered all the choices and was served what the waitress felt that she wanted. The food was good but not excellent... More

Good food, nice atmosphere, clean. Expect a wait most nights, though... They also do functions, which are great. Their hot fudge sundaes are delicious too!

Great place to eat or take out. Best chicken tenders, cooked to perfection. Also try the frozen mudslide. Yum:)

This is a very busy restaurant and there is usually a wait but modest (15-20 min). The food is good and substantial. They have a signature chicken finger dish with their special sauce that is a winner. They can now make it gluten free for me. It's a rather noisy environment with a bar that is a hang out spot... I have been here quite a few times it's a must go in my opinion if your in Manchester. The food is always very good and never had a complaint and he staff is very helpful. My only thing I've ever not liked and is the only reason I give it a 4/5 is if you don't order ahead your... More

The Back Room is less a resteraunt and more a tradition in Manchester. If you go through Manchester and don't stop you've completely missed the point. Grab a chicken fingers basket. Coconut, Spicey, or our favorite... Traditional (plain). You won't be sorry. Side of french fried or mashed taters....YUM. NOW you've been to Manchester, NH! If your old enough they... More

I tried the Spaghetti with Meatballs. It was good for a family restaurant billed as American. I saw the place fill up but got in in two minutes. They do work the room and service is good.

Everyone in town loves Puritan Backroom chicken tenders. But....the wait time to get in is usually very long and they do not take call ahead. The majority of the servers are rude. We have been coming here for years and in all these years the servers have always been rude. Could never quite understand that either. Fun place to go... More

It is all about the legendary chicken fingers. Oh wait, it is also about the onion rings. Delicious! Called ahead. Order ready. Well package. Fortunately the contents of the package didn't last long! Don't miss the chicken tenders.
