Very enjoyable breakfast even with a 20 minute wait. Homemade applesauce was my favorite and coffee good and strong. Hubby had eggs Benedict and I had one pancake with an egg. They are willing to go off menu. Slightly higher in price especially for sides....More
I love everything about this place, from the quirky decor, to the lovely lady taking orders and serving and especially the lobster rolls. It's brilliant.
Open for breakfast and lunch...lots of fresh choices and specials. Food is great....from eggs any way you like to soups and sandwiches. We have had both breakfast and lunch here and have never been disappointed in the food or the service.
We were staying at the Hampton Inn and couldn't face breakfast there and by chance found The Stairway Cafe. Staff were wonderful, atmosphere great and food excellent if not too much. Really is a Stairway to Heaven.
