Snow was pouring down so we took shelter for beer and some great seafood at the Brewery. Great food and nice place to hang out and have a few beers.

On a cold January evening the hotel desk clerk recommended the Portsmouth Brewery after my inquiry regarding local microbreweries. Dining alone I chose the bar and the bartender, Tom, was pleasant, informative and prompt. The Tuesday Special was a Stout Brisket braised in their Stout....More

We called in for a few beers one evening and really enjoyed the wide selection of craft beers, most brewed on the premises. Service was good, fast and friendly. Next day, holed up in our hotel during the blizzard, we saw a Tweet from the...More

The food here is good, but it can take a while to get served, and may not be that hot when it arrives. Always a fun menu for food, but tge bet is the reason to go here.

The restaurant was pretty quiet when we arrived on a Saturday early evening. We were still sat in the back room, which didn’t have the same ambiance as the main restaurant/bar (would have preferred sitting in the bar). We sat next to a window that...More

I came to Portsmouth hoping to get to at least one brewery and this one was the one I ended up getting to go to. I had a veggie Reuben which I loved (as a vegetarian, I don’t know how a meat eater would feel)...More

Thanks for your visit and your candid review. To answer your question, yes, non-vegetarians (myself included) do enjoy our veggie Reuben. Clearly we need to fix those green beans, however. We appreciate your feedback!

Three of us had dinner here this week and our first visit ever. Christian was our server and had a terrific attitude. The menu is diverse, food was delicious and we will definitely be back! Try the pulled pork sandwich and the barbecued chicken. Delish!!!

My husband and I ate a late lunch on Friday. We shared an order of Alehouse mussels. They were the best mussels we’ve ever had. The tomatoes, garlic, butter and oregano in the broth was so flavorful, and the bread that accompanied the huge bowl...More

Good afternoon (sorry for the tardy reply). Yes, we do have a small patio, but, alas, we can not allow pets there as it is only accessible from inside the building.
