My husband took my mother and I here for Mother's Day. I had never heard of the restaurant before, so I was skeptical, however I was quickly reassured. For Mothers Day, they had a buffet consisting of a raw bar, dessert bar, and a variety of hot options. My favorites were the cheesecake , brioche French toast, and their house... More

So enjoyed our drinks appetizers and salad. Loved atmosphere as there was folk/rock singer at bar. I've been here before for lunch, dinner never a poor choice. They put lots effort into making it enjoyable. Watch for the almost monthly Paint and sip parties run by Paint pARTy a nearby paint and sip studio.

We go to the Black Water Grill fairly often and have never been disappointed. The food is consistently good, and the portions are very generous. Their salads are excellent, and there are many add-ons, too. The atmosphere is very open but still cozy, and it's quiet enough that you can carry on a conversation. The wait staff is attentive as... Went for lunch with my co-workers. The food was good. We sat in the bar area which was decorated for the holidays. Really pretty.

We really enjoyed our meals, but thought they were priced a little bit high. Nice appetizer selections, limited entrée selections. I would go back but maybe for a ,unch instead of dinner.

We've only been here once and may have gotten lucky with our menu selections, but everything we ordered was top-notch. We're admittedly a little picky, and were excited to find a local establishment in a sea of chain restaurants. The service, even on a Friday night, was personable and attentive. The bread was fantastic, mussel app and salads with crab... More

First of all, if you could give 3.5, I would instead of a 3. The service was impeccable and friendly. The food was average. The Buffalo wonton were good, but the lobster Ravioli was bland...little taste. The blueberry lemon drop Martini was pretty decent, but the cucumber Martini was gross.

My husband and I visit BWG regularly. The restaurant choices in Salem are limited to a small handful that serve good food. The food is good. The menu is limited. The only specials seem to be fish which makes my husband happy, but I would like a little more variety. Chicken and steak always the same. Dinner is limited to... More

We sat in bar near the outdoor seating. They have a more formal dining room with linen table cloths which looked really pretty. They were definitely understaffed, but service was friendly. Main menu somewhat limited. Summer drink specials very good but expensive, limited beer selection. If you want bread you have to ask, but are not told so. Calamari was... More
