Dropped close to $100 for a terrible meal. Waited over 30 minutes for cold food. Fried lobster had some awful goo on them and they even got part of the order wrong. And everyone got sick. Their Cash only policy makes it inconvenient even though...More

Mother's Day. Mary wants to go to Portsmouth and Art extends the ride down the New Hampshire coast to Seabrook to eat at Brown's again. It's been a while. It's packed, of course and it's early afternoon. Inside the entryway the sign says to wait...More

Lobster rolls. Chowder. Onion rings. Dinner after the Northeast Sea Glass Expo. I grew up in Amesbury and consider this a destination meal. So glad it never disappoints. If you like sea food served by generations of The Brown family with a smile this is...More

The seafood is delicious. It's BYOB so I bring a cooler. Loud and fun atmosphere because it's always packed. Beautiful view of the sunset.

Local spot that you could miss unless your with a local. I had what's called a steamer and it was gross, but more because of how sandy it was. Yuck. The onion rings and calamari had no flavor at all, but my Pepsi was good.

Wanting a taste of summer during the winter?? This is the place to come to. Packed as usual, but not "summer" busy. Nothing warms your soul better than some fried seafood from Browns! Sweet tasting per usual!

We like good fresh New England seafood and Brown's is pretty good. I don't eat clams but my husband does and he likes the fried clams here. My love is for fried haddock and it is good here. Average price for the area.

Came here last year and really enjoyed the seafood and relaxed atmosphere. Today the wait was almost an hour to actually get our dinners. Waited in line to order then waited to pick up our food. Not a problem, don't mind waiting for good seafood....More
