This would be your typical brewpub with pub fare in most places, but in remote northern New Hampshire this is an institution. They've been in business since the 1980s and have slowly built a small inn into quite an operation: several buildings with lodgings, a brewery, a tasting room, and multiple dining rooms. It all looks like a sprawling Victorian... More

Their service is exceptional, even if they are jammin', I don't ever remember having to wait very long to be served, the prices are more than reasonable, especially if you hit their happy hour. The portions are more than generous, if anyone leaves there hungry, I would be amazed. The atmosphere is friendly, laid-back, casual. The employees seem happy to... More

This is a great fixture in the area. The place is family oriented as well as adult preferred. There are dining areas, a pub area, a small brewery shop and the Inn. If you have a chance get there between 3-5 because it is happy hour and half off apps.

Usually very crowded so be prepared to wait.....but you can wait at the bar with lots of other fun hungry beer drinkers! Great selection of micro brews and good classic brew pub menu with some interesting twists.

We got there early, around 4:45 for dinner. Told about 45 minute wait. Bar area was busy, but we were able to get service. Staff very friendly here and helpful with the beer choices. Got call for table much quicker than expected. They crowd tables pretty tightly. For apps we had 1/2 order potato skins which were not your typical... More

There were 4 people in our party and just stopped here for lunch without a reservation before we were going to visit the Ice Castles. We got seated right away without any delay. We all ordered something different, and we all enjoyed our meals very much! I ordered the Pastrami Reubenski which was delicious! The sweet potato fries I ordered... More

The number of food choices are the only bad thing here. There menu has so many things I wanted to order, I had trouble deciding. All our choices were very good along with some great bourbon barrel beer.

We stopped by after going to the ice castle. We got in just before the kitchen closed at 10pm. The seafood chowder was creamy and had nice chunks of potatoes and seafood. The chicken fingers were good too. FYI- the hostess is located at the back of the restaurant where the gift shop is located. (A little confusing when we... More

My friend and I enjoyed our food and the ambiance was pleasant but I'm not sure if my order was right. I ordered the California gluten-free pizza without mushrooms. When it came, there were no mushrooms but there were olives, which weren't specified on the menu. No biggie, I just picked them off. However, the crust seemed too puffy to... More

Wide variety menu. We were a party of 8 with two young kids. Expansive kids menu was fantastic! Atmosphere in the main bar area was cool. We were seated in the front of the Inn and the environment there was not as appealing. Overall a good experience.
