Through the end of October, there is a schooner tied up next to the Lobster House, which offers drinks and lite dinner fare from the Lobster House. My wife and I enjoyed sitting on the schooner looking back at the Cape May Harbor where all...More

Being in Cape May for a weekend in November, one can find numerous restaurants available in town, but once Sunday is over, most of the restaurants are either closed or have limited hours. We are ALWAYS able to have a good sea food lunch or...More

The main stay for seafood in Cape May. We had a great meal. The restaurant was full, so you would think they would be able to put some lights on in the dining room so you could see what you were doing. Just about every...More

After having a great seafood meal at a restaurant a little further north the previous night, we were very disappointed with the Lobster House. The food from the chowder to the shrimp stuffed with crabmeat was average at best. The sautéed crabmeat was better but...More

We always go to The Lobster House when we’re in town. It never disappoints! The casual take out is good when you really don’t want full service and just want to hang out by the dock. Inside has a formal dining area where there’s full...More

We usually start our visit to Cape May with lunch at the Lobster House. This is our first visit in November so the schooner was not open and we dined inside. The large restaurant is quite gloomy. This may be cooling in the summer but...More

You’d have to call them but I doubt it due to cold weather. I think the schooner is just a bar, food is served on adjacent dock year round I think.

I think they are open 7 days all year round. Depending on the day and the weather the outside deck and raw bar area might not be open. There is a more formal, more expensive indoor dining room too. I think the deck might be... More
