I was very optimistic. The decor is cute. The staff was friendly. The food is local and fresh. Service was efficient. The meal execution was the miss. My guest ordered the $28 shrimp which was poorly cleaned, and this was the first disappointment. The second...More

I had read some good reviews about this place. Tried it out while in town with my husband for a couple of days. I liked that they source a lot of their food from local farm Beach Plum Farm. Very enjoyable. Nice that it's a...More

Louisa's is a small restaurant located on a side street, on the main Mall area. The food is locally sourced and was delicious! We tried the salmon entree; perfectly cooked and their home made crab cakes. Entrees were accompanied by brown rice and a slaw...More

I'll cut to the chase. Dinner was amazing! The fresh fish selections on the chalkboard were all tempting. I had the crab cakes. Very tasty and the tarter sauce was the perfect touch. The service was great. We didn't feel rushed at all even though...More

This is the first time I was disappointed in Louisa's. None of the usual great starters were available, the sides were the same 2 that never change. Dessert selection was not as appealing. Feels like they're just not bothering anymore. And no wine glasses? Seriously?More

Hi Anne_G699. We use the classic Picardie wine glasses made in France. We know they are not your typical wine glass here in America but the French think they are the most perfectly shaped glass! Our small chalkboard menu is constantly changing based on what...More

Don't be surprised by the size of the restaurant - it really is that small, seating far fewer people than most restaurants. BE SURPRISED by everything else: * The menu is clearly written on the blackboard and identifies ingredients very well. * The menu is...More

This quaint, small farm to table had very good food at reasonable prices. All four of us ordered seafood from crab cakes to salmon and flounder. The portion size was good and flavorful. There are about 8 entrees listed as well as some appetizers on...More

This was a delightful little restaurant. It's cash only and a BYOB. It's a farm to table business. I had the crab cakes with a Caesar salad. The restaurant is very small and I would recommend reservations. The staff were lovely. The crab cakes were...More

Louisa's is everything that's going right about US small businesses. Will took great care to tell us about the store's history, the chocolates, and himself. He shared our giddy excitement over the chocolates, as if it was his first time there, too. It wasn't until...More

Serving fresh simple seafood dishes here on Jackson Street since 1980. All our desserts are made right here each morning. Stop by the Chocolate Bar where we have the most delicious Artisan chocolate being made in the beautiful USA! Call for current hours. Our hostess is here at 4. We do not seat any children after 6pm - that is when we begin adult swim.

Have fun in Cape May and thanks for stopping by!
