As long as you don't go with the expectation of it being upscale you will be fine. It is very average food served in average manner. The décor is a bit depressing, like it needs a little sprucing up. The scones and other treats looked supermarket quality, I am pretty sure you can find prettier ones in any local bakery,... More

Poor quality ingredients in the unimaginative and uncreative sandwiches--the baked goods appeared to be bought at a grocery store

My mother, sister and I took the children to tea and had a great time. The children enjoyed choosing their own tea pots as well as boa's to wear for the tea. The selection of teas is good and the endless pot of tea is wonderful. The scones were served warm with "clotted" cream and strawberry jam, wish they also... More

A big variety of different teas. Also had a big variety of finger foods, small sandwiches and a large variety of desserts. It's in a very nice resort town of Cape May, NJ. The cost is minimal for the variety offered. The atmosphere is very nice and the owner is very nice to everyone. This is my third trip to... More

Who would pay over $25 for a pot of stale tea. Really, this was the last straw of a visit to a dying resort desperate for money. We felt this fluff of a "tea room" was on its way out of business and could not fully grasp the concept of class. Chintzy, cheesy and WAY over priced. A gimmick.

I'm from the San Francisco Bay Area and I've tried almost every tea room in the area. The Butterfly Tea room in Cape May was SUCH a delight and could stand up to any of the others I have been to! The atmosphere is SO charming!!!! The owner and the server made us feel as welcome as if we were... More

Definitely Tea. We had such a fun time picking out the tea and teapot for our tasting. The desserts are great, too many to mention but lets say you will want a take home. The service excellent, an adult teaparty and just enjoyable time and atmosphere
