My husband and I went to the Dolsot House with another couple. We were seated immediately, but the restaurant filled up right after we arrived at 6:30. We ordered pork dumplings and the server recommended the wings. She was right! The wings were crunchy and large. They were so good! You should definitely try them. Everyone at the table ordered... Great dining experience, reasonably priced, and fantastic service. We love the BBQ chicken wings, and I usually get the chicken bulgogi box. They start everyone off with 8 or so very small places of various foods - some are really good, a couple aren't my cup of tea. But it really does add to the experience. Servers are very attentive... My daughter and I were greeted and seated as soon as we entered the restaurant. It was mid-afternoon, so it was not crowded. Our server brought menus and water and checked back with us until we were ready to order. First came a very pleasant surprise -- an assortment of cold vegetables including cucumber, green beans, eggplant, turnip, and kim... More

Really great, inexpensive Korean. The place is small, but I've never had to wait too long for a table. The small appetizers that you get when you first sit down are cute and most of them are good (there's one fish plate that I usually avoid). My fiance loves the spicy pork and tofu bulgogi and I like the kalbi... More

Went twice so far and will definitely go back! The dolsot bimibap is delicious especially if you let the rice sit a bit so it gets a beautiful crunchy crust. We also got the Korean pizza with shrimp. Wonderful! You won't be disappointed.

What a wonderful place to eat or order take out. I find myself driving the hour drive just to get their food.

I never really had Korean food before and wasn't sure what to expect. Now I'm hooked. Lots of very different and interesting selections and flavors. They start you off with a small sampling of interesting plates such as kimchi, some type of small beef cubes (really good), beans, mushrooms etc. It was great. We then had some steamed pork and... So we only sampled a few items as takeout but everything was delicious. There was a wait to get in which is always a good sign. They have an expansive menu which is good for me in experimenting with Korean food as I only know of a few dishes (so far!). I literally cannot wait to go back and sample... More

They have excellent and authentic Korean food. While it is not a real Korean BBQ place with a built-in grill at your table, they do offer excellent BBQ dishes. Kalbi (short ribs), Bulgogi (sliced prime rib), Bibimbap (meat and vegetables over rice in hot stone bowl) and kimchi are all excellent. Great value as well. Simple setting in a strip... More
