Great food at reasonable prices. Never had a bad meal here. Friendly owner and wait staff, good value for the cost. Highly recommend Riley and Jakes.

I have eaten here several times since moving to the area. As others have stated when the food is good, its good. When its not, its not. Consistency is an issue. Fortunately, my experiences have been more good than bad. That said, I am not a fan of their burgers especially the pretzel burger. I love pretzels and burgers, so... More

As a Hunterdon County native, I'll tell you that I love our local restaurants. I love the look and feel and I love the food. R&J's is no exception to this rule. Always great, high quality food and service. Highly recommend!

We go for dinner here every few months. They have specials every now an again. Two for prime rib, one burger, one turkey dinner. Really good, drinks are priced average (beer $3.50, wine $6). We stay away from the dome area in back (usually too cool), we found a coupon in a local flier and had the kids for a... More

The place is in need of an update but the staff and owners are very pleasant. The food as far as burgers, quesadilla and flatbreads are good but the other things on the menu can be good or not. We go there regularly but sometimes need a break because the food is not consistently good. The prices are mid range... More

The atmosphere was warm and invited lively discussions of past events. The food was very tasty and our waitress was very friendly and accommodating. We were never rushed and were able to relax and have fun..

For Octoberfest my wife and I to go out to eat. Wish we stayed home. Both meals were of poor quality, the sauerbraten was nothing more than dried beef with some tasteless sauce and the wurst sandwich that I request had pieces of wurst no longer than three inches long. Finally the German Chocolate cake was dry. Come on this... More

While food is good the interior of this place desperately needs an update. Has a dirty, old, musty feel about it, though I do not believe it is dirty. They do a pretty decent business there, they need to put some of their money back into the business and make it a more pleasant environment to eat in. There are... More

Average burger and platter menu, but the food is good and plentiful. Relaxed surroundings with plenty of TV's to watch games. We ate on the patio with live entertainment.
