I read the review in the New York Times, so ordered their most famous creation, a pastrami sandwich. They gave me enough for 3-4 meals, but it was not cheap. I thought the bread was just OK. You can get better rye bread at my...More

We had not been to Harold's in over 2 years, for no particular reason. Tonight, when we went, every single delicious memory came rushing back--including seeing Harold there as well. For those who do not know, Harold's is known for having an incredibly tasty selection...More

Before visiting the area, I did some research and read up on this place. Here's the thing: If you don't want a LOT of leftovers, or have a large (4+) group to go with, you will not be happy with the amount of wasted food...More

The restaurant wasn't crowded like it used to be. We were 6 people and ordered 3 large sandwiches. One corned beef, one lean brisket, one pastrami. The pastrami and brisket were dry, the corned beef was only OK. We also ordered a potato knish and...More

Look, we live on the East coast, with numerous Jewish delis within about 30 mins of our home. Yesterday we decided to stop at Harold's for dinner on the ride home from a family visit. Our hopes were high as the Harold's website showed plentiful...More

Can't you figure out that huge portions usually means low quality? Great, they make you buy three tons of their crappy food, leading to astronomical tabs. The corned beef was dry and crumbly, the bread tasted cheap, the noodle soup tasted like campbells, and the...More

This restaurant has the largest portions of fresh food by far. No exaggeration. Some of the sandwiches are at least a foot tall. The amount of meat is truly ridiculous. Most portions are designed to be shared with 2-4 people. My wife order the matzo...More

It was recommended that we try this place out from my aunt. We were seated quickly. One thing you will notice is that the prices are super high, but it each item feeds multiple people. We ordered the pastrami and corned beef sandwich . See...More

I'm pretty sure you can't. We ate there for my father-in-law's birthday and his son and son's wife are basically alcoholics who have to drink everywhere and they didnt bring anything.

They prepare their own meats and I don't think there's a worry there. Tell them to hold the bread that accompanies the meat
