I have been going to this Diner for many years when it used to have a different name. Stopped by for dinner and was not disappointed. All of the food that we ate was tasty and fresh. We will be back.

Was once my favorite diner. I live near it, but rarely go now; the atmosphere/attitude went downhill with new owners. Food is hit/miss; service is more Miss. Prices went up. Mini-meal #15 is your best bet; (ChickenParm/spaghetti); I've been getting it for over 20 years. Recently had breakfast with my son. Waitress was incredibly rude; ruined the whole meal.
I drove out of my way to go buy this place. I have eaten here many times before and always had tasty good value for the money spent food. What a major disappointment. First new owners and prices are higher. The food was served after a long wait with the scrapple cold and overcooked. I think it was cooked earlier... More
Sign out front said same good food same staff - Not sure about the staff but the food is NOT nearly as good - even their "signature" dish - chicken pot pie - tasteless - this place is not worth stopping for
Been a while since I was last here. Convenient location with adequate parking.Place is clean and quiet. Got seated promptly and greeted by costumed waitress for Halloween. Ordered waffle and side of pork roll served promptly and hot. Coffee was hot and served first Booths are in good repair no tears or bad padding. Clean windows so I can watch... More
I had the meatloaf mini meal. It was very tasty and a large portion. Took 1/3 home for lunch tomorrow. My husband had the beef stew which was one of the evening specials. It also was very tasty. We both had the chicken rice soup. Very good. We definitely recommend the Point 40 Diner for a good home cooked meal.
R.I.P. Point 40 Diner. New management has taken over, and not for the better. I have been ordering onions with my home-fries for 20 years, no problem, today I got charged 50 cents extra. My husband also got his first dried out egg's Benedict ever here. Are the cooks and waitresses fleeing the sinking ship? They also upped all of... More
We stopped by the Point 40 Diner on the way home from Baltimore Maryland. What a wonderful surprise. We both got the Maryland Crab Cake Friday Special. It came with a generous salad, rolls and cornbread, two giant crab cakes, large portion of very good mac and cheese and stewed tomatoes and a dessert. The cost was just $9.95. What... More

Do you re-serve food, after it has been on another customer's plate?
Recently, After receiving breakfast (with the wrong side order) the waitress walked away. After about 90 seconds, we waved her down, she came back; told her of the error. Instead of just leaving the sausage on the plate, she actually went to get another plate, and took the sausage back to the kitchen.
Our impression was-she intends to reserve it; which is a health code violation. She has no idea what happened to that sausage, after serving it!
I couldn't help but wonder, who's leftovers am I eating?!
