Really, not much to say. The service was lousy and the food was fair. Not a place to return. Done and Gone!!!

I live near Hiram's and occasionally stop by. The place is like stepping back in time but you'll enjoy it. The staff is friendly and the food is always good - not great. There is a nice picnic area and they sell Christmas tress at holiday time. A special treat are the seasonal displays out front. Of special note -... More

Great hot dogs, albeit not cheap ... try the chilly cheese dog. I also wish they had more beer selection, and they definitely need to do something about being a cash-only restaurant. It's the 21st century. I'm not asking for iPhone payment, but can we at least have debit as an option?

A co-worker suggested this hole in the wall hot dog restaurant for lunch today. The chili cheese dog was really good!

Going here with kids is fun! they run and play and eat. Their hotdogs are not bad. They need more beer options. Also cash only.

Been around forever and they serve some of the best hot dogs anywhere. Try a chili cheese dog. And they serve beer. Great stop for a quick dinner on the way out of NYC.

Stoped for lunch on the way out of town after a tour of Columbia university. This has got to be one of my new favorite places in the world. Saw this place on The first season of No Reservations about 7 years ago and have been thinking of it ever since. The dogs are perfect, classic chili and cheese and... More

This place is amazing and the hot dog is out of this world. With several different types of onion on top, you will have a treat! Used to come for lunch but now only for dinner.

In the early 70's I walked past Pete and Esco on my way to school. I now live 100 miles away and travel with my family to meet my father (who still lives in the neighborhood) at Hiram's. Hiram's is a comfortable, iconic landmark in a town that has grown up around it. Colorful personalities on both sides of the... More
