Went with 7 people for lunch. Wasn't to busy. Our waiter was very friendly. I had the Carolina BBQ burgers. It was very good. The kids had grilled cheese and a small pizza. They liked it. Nice bar scene and good menu. Great local place.

We've been here a few times. The food is pretty good and the atmosphere is fun. They have a ton of TVs so you're game is pretty much guaranteed to be on somewhere in there. They also do live music certain nights. I try to avoid the place then because it gets too loud to have a conversation.

Moore's is a down & "dirty" tavern/pub kind of place. Nothing fancy here as long as you're looking for just the basics, Moore's will fill the bill. There are happy hour small bites and drink specials which draw a good bar crowd most any night. They also offer nightly specials in addition to the regular menu. There's an extensive beer... More

I hate to write that is was " eh", but it really was. I went many years ago, and have been meaning to go back. We went with another couple and got apps ... and not one thing of what we got made me say " boy that was good"... I guess you can't judge a place by their apps,... More

The whole family (Grandparent's, kids and Grandkids)come here every year after apple and pumpkin picking at nearby Battle view Orchards. There are enough choices to satisfy everyone. Service is fast and good as is the food. This time we had two not so good experiances. A broken chair that pinched my Granddaughter and another issue. Our waitress and Mr.Taylor the... More

Moore's has good food and a very large selection of choices. The wait staff is very prompt and friendly. It's kid friendly and also has entertainment on the weekend.

This place has FREAKING AMAZING history, but it is hardly touted! I found it online and decided to visit with my husband based on the historic value alone. An aide to General George Washington during the Revolutionary War lived here and started the tavern before 1787 (the first documented license granted to the establishment, according to the website). It has... More

Something is much different these days. Tuesday night has a 2-for-1 special for the hamburgers. They used to be made of fresh, loosely packed meat. Now, they seem to be made of pre-frozen patties. There is little taste to them; I'm not sure if they are actually half-pounders anymore. My wife asked for sauteed onions on her sandwich. They were... More

We stopped here for lunch after golf at Charleston Springs. I had the Balsamic Chicken Panini; sounded interesting, but the chicken was tough. The medium rare cheeseburgers were served medium well. Too bad there's not a better alternative within a couple of miles of the course. Moore's has a virtualmonopoly.
