I think this place must have changed ownership, or at the very least management and staff . It's Okay , but not nearly as good as it used to be .

Ate here again, ordered Minced Pork with pickled green beans. It was great. The beans had an amazing flavor, just delicious. Also had chicken with pickled peppers. It was unbelievable! The pickled peppers were delicious, with lots of ginger. Yum!

A few years ago they got new menus, raised the prices and lowered the quality of service. They have not been the same since. There are way too many other excellent choices in the area. In my opinion, the food is okay but the deficient service and higher prices detract from the overall experience.

Attractive decor and wide variety of Szechuan and non-spicy offerings too. Love their Beef & Green Chilies. Have great lunch specials at good prices and quick and easy take out.

If you like spicy and flavorful dishes, I would recommend the Chengdu offerings. Food is really good.

Thank goodness we have this gem locally without having to travel to New York or Philly Chinatowns! If you're tired of Chinese American fare and want the real deal, go to Szechuan House! The food is incredible. These are chefs cooking the food from scratch here, not short order cooks. Soups and sauces are amazing. Foodies who love experimenting will... More

This was an amazing meal from the start. I always think that the quality/taste of a restaurant's soup foretells a lot about the rest of the meal. The Hot and Sour soup was delicious. Tasty, not so much meat, but was a great start and left me thinking 'wow, what's coming next'? Next we had marinated vegetables that were like... More

They specialized in hot dishes. The place is pretty big and capable to handle big crowd. The place has been there for some time. But I think the original owner - a lady, moved on to other locations. The place is nicely decorated with plenty of parking. Order some of the famous Szechuan dishes - red hot chili oil wanton,... More
