I was never exactly enthused with Cracker Barrel's politics and practices of years ago. Who knows if I had my facts straight anyway. Putting that aside - they really have a good restaurant! The one I went to is located just off Route 80 West in Mount Arlington. There's plenty of parking. Entry is through their gift shop - which... More
Most people have been to Cracker Barrel, but this one is a step above the rest. We met for breakfast to go over some business. The service was fast, and checked on us regularly, but not too much to bother us while we went over the numbers. The breakfasts were large and plentiful. Couldn't even finish.
I have been in many Cracker Barrel but the service we got in this location was excellent. Jorleny gave us the best customer service ever. I asked for the "Gamma Breakfast" (which Cracker Barrel does not have on the menu, one has to ask for it) and explained that we wanted to share it because it was a lot of... More
Stopped in at Cracker Barrel for breakfast while heading west on Route 80. Can't beat the location just off of the highway. Was seated right away and the waitress came over right away. I ordered the Eggs-in-the-Basket breakfast. Eggs were cooked just right. I like that you have the choice of bacon or sausage and fried apples or hash browns.... More
A great place for good county food done right. Sides like fried okra, cheese grits and honey infused whole baby carrots. There's also a nostalgic store to shop at if your waiting for a table or done eating. This is a great place to unwind on a Sunday and have some good old fashioned cooking.
Had breakfast here on way to Atlantic City. Party of five seated immediately, drink order taken promptly, waitress smiling and friendly. She was great and patient with our young grandchildren. Food received hot, as ordered, seasoned appropriately, tasty. Great stop for breakfast, many choices on the menu or order separate items to your liking. Added treat is the country store... More
Let's face it' not all Cracker Barrel locations are the same. Sure they pretty much look all identical, yet some of these restaurants are pretty bad. This one in Mount Arlington NJ is surely one of the better ones. The food s always cooked to the restaurant's high standards. Their eggs are pretty amazing no matter how you like them.... More
Stopped here on a bus trip returning from the Thanksgiving Day Parade..we were all seated promptly and served in a timely manner. i had the chicken fried steak which was very good..and of course the mac n cheese is always a favorite! The staff was very friendly !
Food was simple, took a while to get it. Overall tasty but smaller portions than I gotten used to when we ate it in Florida! It was very busy at the time of patronage as it was veterans day and the store and restaurant were overflowing. We went for lunch & had lunch. Good stop if your traversing NJ as... More
