Family tradition. Every time we are in New Brunswick we grab a fat sandwich. Taste great and are cheap. Perfect food for the college kids.

I know, people will be saying that Pittsburg has been doing this forever...French fries in a hoagie....who cares. If visiting the campus, I would google maps this place and have a sandwich....many yo choose from. My kid loved it. Great to see how many people beat the challenge, which is now somewhat famous thanks to man vs food
Im not big into the fatty grease foods but tend to give myself a cheat day every so often. Wow.. i was blown away.. excellent service and food. When you are visiting Rutgers, do yourself a favor and check them out.
R U Hungry is the best grease truck around, on College Ave on the Rutger's campus. Food is tasty, Fresh, bread is good too. I ordered the Fat Buddah, and my GF ordered the Chicken Finger Fat Cat...both are really good. For a TRUE "FAT" sandwich experience...this grease truck is a must.
For any Rutgers experience to be complete, you have to visit at least one of the famed Grease Trucks. Spread out all over the Rutgers campuses, each truck contains a plethora of big, bountiful sandwiches with all sorts of different combinations of meats, cheese, and sauces. For me, I've come to rely on the Fat Jhonny, a combination of cheesesteak,... More
Cool environment and great food. The area was booming with college kids. It is interesting that the dueling trucks are going after the same customers across the parking lot.
My family lives in Bricktown NJ and my cousin kept talking about the "Grease Trucks" near Rutgers! We took the trip to eat there and it was AMAZING! Such cool menu items. My boyfriend was in heaven. I got a sub with a hamburger patty, cheesesticks, and more. It was a very large sub. We even saw it on Man... More
Let's say this. You're a new freshman at Rutgers University. You're walking around with your new friends on your first weekend at the BIG STATE SCHOOL at around midnight. Then you walk upon the fabled GREASE TRUCKS. You check out all the different sandwiches and choices and your friends and you finally decide on what you want. You sit down... More
My daughter and her friends go out of there way to eat at the Grease Trucks. Her friends drive 40 minutes so they can have a delicious fat cat sub or any of the large variety subs that the Grease Trucks make. She says she hasn't had a bad meal there yet, and her mouth waters just thinking about it.
It is recommend to try something new every time. I wouldn't eat this everyday but when I do it definitely hits the spot!
