PERKS CAFE is a Family owned breakfast and lunch restaurant with more than generous plate servings. We seat 120 and a counter that seats 6. We also have on site parking while dining only. We're open from 8AM until 2PM (1:45 PM is our last seating)7 days a week from Memorial day until Labor Day...All other open months we are open on Saturday and Sunday from 8am to 1pm. Please join us and enjoy, we do try so very hard to please everyone and even with the rising costs of food have never stopped useing qulity products and ingredients like farm freash XL eggs,Hatfield sausage,a Costa Rican blended coffee,Pitt Ham steaks, Hormel thick cut bacon to just name a few as the list goes on. So please bring a appetite and hope to see you'all soon !!

This place is like going to visit our family in Point Pleasant, NJ. We have visited every year for decades and it has always been great. They have the best pancakes ever and the staff is very family friendly. Special Thanks to our server Matt, great personality and super server. Glad you got the hair cut, much better. Lol

My friends and I ate at Perks Cafe in August 2022 and cannot say enough wonderful things about the service, meals and location. Perfect breakfast!! We will see you next summer!!!
Also, do yourself a favor try the eggs benedict one day and the perks toast the next!

Clean, friendly staff, bright and light throughout!
Reasonable prices with big portions!
Right in the heart of all that the
Point Pleasant has to offer with parking nearby.
We plan to visit them next time we're in the area!

The food is no different than any other place .. only difference is the price.. $9.00 for kids toast come ooonnnn gettoouuttaeeeaaahhh.. we had a normal breakfast with 1 kiddo..
2 eggs toast bacon 1 waffle. My wife had the same ..water oj.. kid ate the waffle and toast .. $78.00 not including the tip..

Never again! First of all, we waited for ten minutes for our waitress to come take our drink order, which never did happen. I realize there's a shortage of help these days, but this was not the case! There were three girls standing by the register, just chatting up a storm. My son went over to ask where our waitress was. They said they saw her go into the back. He came back to our table. One of them came over & decided to take care of us herself. It was fine. She was nice, & apologized. The next problem was the real kicker! As we left, I took the car to find a place to park, which is a real challenge near the boardwalk in Point Pleasant. The rest of my family was going to walk across the street, to the boardwalk, where I was going to meet them. This is where it got crazy! A girl from the cafe came running up the sidewalk, where she got into my husband's face! She accused us of not leaving a tip, & saying she was tired of people like us stiffing her waitresses!! Then, our waitress came out & yelled to her, never mind, I found it under a plate! Really??? My husband told her he demanded an apology. She said, sorry about that, & turned around. Really?!?! Are you kidding me?!?! You chase customers up the street & wrongly accuse them of something??? My husband was livid! He said, I'm almost 70 years old & I have never had something like this happen in my life!!! Btw, I had left the tip.....$20.00! I am a good tipper, no matter what the circumstances! But this was utterly ridiculous & embarrassing! Never again will we give this establishment our business!!!! I am still totally appalled by this whole thing!!! 😡

This is my absolute go to breakfast place. I stay at the Windswept and walk on to Perks. Food is fresh and service is good. It's alittle pricey but worth it.

The restaurant didn't look open but it was pretty full when we walked in at 9 am on Saturday. We were quickly seated and our waitress came right over. Other than chipped cups and dirty coffee decanters i can't say anything bad. The food came out hot and it was good. We all had pork roll (thats right not canadian bacon) egg and cheese sandwiches. Came with home fries. The place was a little pricey, but hey we are at the shore! They are open for breakfast and lunch.

This place serves fresh breakfast!!! Portions are big so bring an appetite.The prices are great and the service is fast.This is my go to place in the morning before I hit the beach!!!!

Went to Perks for breakfast. Thankfully got there before the Sunday Morning Brunch crowd (around 9 a.m.), we only had to wait a few minutes to be seated. It's an old place, but it was clean, the servers were very friendly and attentive, and the food was very good. I got a sampler plate and my partner got an omelette. Everything was fresh and prepared to order. Thanks!

I went for breakfast one morning with a friend and my 8 yr old. My son loved the football memorabilia all over the walls. That was the best part of Perks. Our breakfast was 48$ without the tip for 3 people which included a child. My omelette was not tasty. Eggs were not fresh. Coffee was bitter, lousy. Kids breakfast for 2 pancakes totally overpriced. I didn’t want any toast or potatoes I preferred fruit. I was charged 6$ for a very small side of fruit. No substitutions Allowed. I will not be returning.

Food was ok, nothing spectacular. Toast was burned and western omelette was just ok. The French toast was disappointing. Wait staff pleasant but slow. Could've been better, could've been worse.

Perk’s has an on sight parking lot. Service is friendly, Served a pot of coffee quickly and no need to ask for refills. Did not wait long for the sausage omelet to be served and given extra napkins as well. Good size portion and well prepared, not overcooked. The cheese on the omelet is extra and was folded inside the omelet as well as a slice on top. Unfortunately, there was a very loud person seated at the table next to me who was constantly laughing that was very annoying and made me feel very uncomfortable. Other than that one customer, this is a great place for breakfast.

Best diner... Hands down. The cinnamon toast is just melt in your mouth goodness. It comes with this sauce over the top and it's just amazing. We went last year and made a point to come back again this year. The service is amazing and it's a friendly atmosphere... Very family friendly. If I could give it 10 stars I would.
