Yeah, I don't t think I would revisit this restaurant in the future. The 6 ounce Filet was overcooked on both ends. As most of my readers already know, when it comes to the WOW factor it’s just another restaurant trying to pay its bills, which is ok, but it’s not gonna happen onmy dime moving forward. Sorry folks.....

Service - excellent as always . food, excellent as always . I never look at the bill or even the prices on the menu. But later I thought hmm that bill was a little high. we had 2 pictures of miller lite , a burger and a chicken dinner . total was 69.00 , I didn't think twice - i gave my usual 20% tip and went home. i came online to get their phone# and noticed someone mention the prices were raised. I'm starting to wonder , was it a mistake or are their prices OUT there

Dined outside at Frankies tonight. Totally scaled down menu. I usually get the penne vodka not available as many other things weren’t also. No croutons came with the salad like they normally do. Will not go back for a long time. Was a total turnoff!!! And pave your parking lot! Come on man!

Girl who answered the phone was not nice, $16.95 for a Medium burger no cheese and fries $18.34 w/tax at first I didn’t think it was my order but with Covid and business being tough I said let it be in my head, got home three blocks away to a rare what really tasted Raw burger (see picture) and over cooked fries, being in the business they were more than likely reheated. First time there since Covid started I’ve been a customer since the mid 90s let’s say 27 years, come on Frankie‘s a burger to go with fries should be a piece a cake considering all the burgers you make somebody just doesn’t care anymore I think. Got to get it together gang for $16.95 plus tax for a burger you have to do a little bit better than This ! .... Will go to Charlie’s for now on !

I know businesses had it tough through Covid but this place takes the cake in price gauging! On line prices show burgers for 10 bucks when in fact they charge 15. Other places include fries with a burger. This place gives you potato chips and charges you extra if you want fries. Guy taking the orders on line had an attitude as if it was a bother to place an order!

Very Disappointing

Blessed with a warm January Saturday, we visited the Point Pleasant boardwalk and then stopped by Frankie's for lunch. The gentlemen who took our name for a table was unfriendly and it seemed as if we were bothering him. The tables are very wobbly which is not good with three young kids. Fortunately, no accidents but some close calls. The nachos were average, except under the cheese were nacho crumbs. It looked like they dumped the bottom of the bag onto the plate and covered it with cheese. Not acceptable for $169 plus tip! I had a filet sandwich which was very good. My wife's salmon was average as the kids food was kid's food. For five us - including some drinks - a $169 bill. At least match the service and food to the cost. Never again.

Horrible take out

Called in an order for take out. Three burgers an order of wings and one order of steak tips. The burgers were all ordered with fries. I specified that we wanted fries and not chips. We received chips. The steak tips Are a strip of meat on a skewer. Nothing else came with it. I am so disappointed in Frankies. Always was very satisfied in the past. Maybe it’s the new owners I don’t know. Dropped $100 on this dinner and it was so not worth it. Will not be returning there ever.

Ok I Have been coming here for over 35 years and during the last few years I have witnessed the owner “ Frankie” Ripping into his help verbally and loudly in front of customers with no Filters...so Me and my wife have decided the next time it happens we will walk out in spite of the wait staff and bartenders who all do a great job. We were in celebrating a special occasion with family and it really made us feel uncomfortable . With a well run machine it doesn’t need water in the oil at this point !! The back bone of this place is the consistency of the food and the help. I’m sorry Frankie stay home !!! Ps and no I’m not an employee !!

Visited Frankies 9/10 @ 5:30pm with my husband for dinner. The manager sat us. ( we asked who he was) The table he was sitting us at was in direct sunlight. I politely asked if we could have the table next to it. The room we were seated in was empty. He replied, “will the food taste better at this table?” I replied, “ no, but we won’t have sun directly in our eyes.” He laughed and walked away. We left …

Local spot, always busy, consistently good food, large portions. You will most likely be taking food home with you. Good burgers, sandwiches, jumbo hot dogs, seafood. Pretty much anything you want here. Diner sized menu. Best nachos anywhere. Bar is always packed. Good Sunday Brunch menu. Enjoy!

Visited tonight first time since quarantine, needless to say extremely disappointed. We go for the filet sandwich and burgers and both were not like they used to be. Lack of flavor, lack of effort and lack of love. No one was friendly. Everyone was miserable. Left with our plates still full.

We stopped at Frankie's for lunch before getting on the train to Asbury Park for a music festival. Our waitress was great and the food was delicious! Would definitely visit again.

I’m writing this with no bias … but they did not change the Cheers atmosphere nor the best of servers and bartenders that Frankies was a stickler for menu expanded and stil the best bar food ( table too) you can get on the NJ shore!!! Signed by, 35 year former patron of Frankie’s. !!
