My husband and I went to the Rocky Hill Inn after seeing Guy Ferri do a segment on Diners & Dives. We started with a bowl of French Onion soup which we shared and was delicious. Then we both had the Fried Green Tomato Burgers. The Bacon jelly tastes great and the burger meat is scrumptious the whole thing with... More

I'd been told of this inn's 1745-origins and something about founding fathers or ghosts. Not that it was a location for the 1994 movie about Einstein in Princeton and taken over by slow-foods chef Evan Blomgren. I didn't expect, on one of the quietest roads I drove on in a week, a gastropub full of people enjoying their Friday evenings... More

Noisy - guests complaining. Over priced - small portions Lobster Mac&Cheese - still looking for the lobster Fish & chips ok but the batter was bitter Women on the welcome - didn't know how to smile Women walking around with clipboard even though no guests waiting made us feel as if we were being shoo'd out of the door Tigers... Did not expect the food to be as good as it was in this small town tavern , but this place surprised me . I had the chicken and it was very good . There is also an interesting selection of burgers . Try the Fried Green Tomato burger !

There were six of us celebrating a birthday recently. We ordered a range of dishes, all of which were outstanding with a complexity and depth of flavor. This "Pub" certainly ranks up with top notch restaurants. Our compliments to the chef. Don't stop!

The usual write-up describes the Inn as a gastropub. Yes, the bar selections are great. But, to characterize it as just a pub with burgers fails to adequately describe the excellence of the menu selections. We have tried several appetizers, the fish pie, the Shepherds pie, the pork chop and the fish and chips. All were top drawer. Given the... More

We have been there several times and really like the burgers which are out of the ordinary in that the flavoring is excellent as well as the beef. My wife liked the hanger steak/salad platter. Our friends enjoyed the fish and chips plate as well as the standard pub burger. They have a very nice beer menu as well as... More

We are completely unfamiliar with the Princeton area, but we were out there with our kids (16 and 11) to pick up my husband's new car at Princeton Audi at dinnertime earlier this week. It was dinnertime and we were too far from home, so my husband picked a place that my kids were not happy about. My 11 year... More

We had dinner here and tried the burgers, pulled pork, deviled eggs and mini tacos. Everything is good and servers are friendly and attentive. Has a ramp for wheel chair and a bar to grab a drink with friends. It's very casual and is fine for kids. Nothing fancy just casual dress and good food.
