Stopped in to get a quick bite to eat and was there for almost an hour. No, it wasn't busy, maybe 5 or 6 tables. I ordered shrimp cocktail, club sandwich & a slice of Oreo cake. Zero cocktail sauce and the shrimp were very over cooked. There was no sign of mayo or mustard on the sandwich and the... More

Went for breakfast with family while babysitting my niece and nephew. Breakfast was very good and doesn't break the bank.

What you would expect from a typical New Jersey Diner. Good breakfast selections. Inconvenient to get to if you are westbound on Route 22.

We needed to find a dinner at the last minute - so stopped in. WE both had the salmon special, I had it poached, my wife had it broiled. Both of us really thought it was done fine - nothing fancy, good basic salmon. Very affordable - full meal included, sides, salad or soup (I had the soup, my wife... More

Marianne the waitress is very nice with her German accent. She is a real pro and very pleasant. They have a nice variety of lunch specials on the board as... More

The service here is friendly and quick. I come for breakfast or lunch frequently with a friend. The food is good diner food and the price is average for a diner.

I have lunch at The Scotchwood Diner several times a month. The food is average, decent diner food. I find their prices to be a little higher than I think they should be.

Went with a friend for lunch and it was awful! I had a Greek salad and there was a bunch of water in the bottom of the plate which made the lettuce soggy. My friends sandwich was equally as bad, the bread was dry and stale. Won't be back!

Only served on Wednesday and to die for. Big portion with huge chunks of white meat and fresh vegetables in a creamy sauce with a fresh baked crust in top. Love when they have this!
