One block off the Boardwalk is this fabulous place for happy hour and dinner. Happy hour has great $6 martinis (great lemon drop) and $9 appetizers including 5 huge firecracker shrimp and steamed clams in broth with chorizo and Veges. Dinner is always good. Great Chilean sea bass, huge tender pork chop or the best and largest serving of ribs.... More

Went with some friends after work for some drinks at Hemingways. It was rather light for Labor Day weekend but a good time as always. It's the type of crowd you expect for a club in Seaside, but the drinks are priced right to ensure the clientele is better the bars on the boardwalk...and while I did not eat at... More

I've been wanting to try this place for a while, I'm happy we did, I'll go back but; This is a great spot for a slightly older crowd, they seem to have a nice happy hour and the atmosphere is great. We got there around 8, had to wait about an hour, the service was very slow but overall not... More

Every year we go to Seaside Heights and have our dinner, on arrival, at Hemingway's. Not because it is particularly family friendly (the music gets a bit grungy and loud) and not because the food is superb (although it is pretty good). There is just something about the place. Everyone there seems happy to be there. The menu has variety... More

I have eaten here often and the food is always good. The service is spotty and they are not well trained to give good restaurant service. It can often be a long wait for food and because of that, we would eat too much bread that they served. We were just there and were told that they are no longer... More

This place is a little nicer than the rest of the restaurants on the boardwalk. The food and drinks are good and the staff is friendly. They do have outdoor dining, which is great for large parties.

We were a large group and I know that's a challenge, but the restaurant wasn't busy. We had the worst service experience ! It took almost an hour for our order to be taken, and some appetizers were delivered almost an hour and a half after we were seated. My entree had to be returned because it was too "vinegary"...
