As good as ever, great atmosphere, good food and excellent service. Several of the party camped the night before on The Bridge camp site and reported great dinner too.

The welcome was absolutely first class, and the young staff were very attentive. The food was excellent and the yurt was beautifully furnished and very comfortable. We were treated to a wonderful breakfast in the farmhouse and even after a few hillbilly gins the night...More

Food was very good, however, the staff were not welcoming and did just want they needed to do and no more. No ‘hello’ as we entered the pub and no ‘Goodbye’ as we left. No real atmosphere - a little disappointed.

Great roast dinner - slow cooked shoulder of lamb and beef were delicious and complete with all the trimmings and perfectly steamed veg. Couple that with lovely friendly service and you couldn’t ask for more!
