Came for dinner at guru. Excellent service. Great friendly staff. The chili paneer was so delicious.

Its very difficult to find Indian restaurant with authentic taste outside of India. Most of them end up disappointing ur palate. However Guru palace was one exception. I ordered the Indian snacks (pakoras) as appetizer and they were really good. Then on the main course the chicken curry was really spicy and awesome. The dal makhani was exactly the way... More

My husband and I have eaten at the Guru Palace several times over the past three years and the food has been consistently good. The buffet allows us to try new Indian dishes; and the selection has been different each time we've gone. The spices used in the dishes are sophisticated and as I chew the food I find many... More

We had a family party on 15th of May and we booked a hall for 65 people at this restaurant with a customised punjabi food. The experience was very good and all guests enjoyed!

Crowded place, not clean.Loudly speaking desi crowd, parents letting their children wander everywhere.Nothing to mention about food.Waiters are polite though. There is no mention of any service charge and yet they add that to your bill and you end up paying additiona amount towards tip. There are better places to go. Avoid.

This is a good place to eat around North Brunswick, Edison area. Owner is present most of the times to oversee your dining experience. One visit, good or bad doesn't summarize the quality and food of the restaurant. Visit a couple of times and experience it yourself.

Tandoori chicken too dry...didn't seem fresh. Lamb biryani too salty/spicy and inedible. When complained, they seemed too busy to care. 18% gratuity automatically added to bill even for a party of 2. Never again!

For the thousand of people who attended / participated in the India Day Parade in Midtown Manhattan on 16th Aug, would it not be astonishing to imagine that the ENTIRE catering and sales of Indian food was done by Guru Palace. To satisfy one of the largest gathering of South Asians in a day long event and that too for... More

We went to Guru Palace due to location only (it was cold and snowing). The food was just about passable, and had something hard-to-chew in it (which they kept insisting was pineapple!). Service was fast, nothing memorable about the taste. The ambience was also strange, very dimly lit, and the colors kept changing continuously. Avoidable.

The fast food vegatarian take-out place next door, Bollywood Cafe, has the same owners. The best Indian food I've had since my last trip to Mumbai. :-)
