Just stopped here on our way home from a day in Philly. We haven't been to the Red Lion in probably about two years. They have done a nice renovation to the diner, but all the faux cherry in the world is not going to change the fact that this is just an average jersey diner and nothing more. It... More

Service was pleasant but a bit slow. Our waitress was apparently working tables in the front and the back so we had to get the attention of another waitress to call her to our booth. Eggs (one with Canadian bacon), toast and coffee for two - $18.45. Some folks love this place while others claim they will never go back.... More

Whether you're there to eat in or just pick up desserts to go, the food is always great, the serving size is generous, and the staff is always attentive and delightful.

I like this place because they have vegetarian options, and over all good solid diner fair. They serve breakfast all day and of course have a carousel of pies and cakes to tempt you. Service is excellent.

This is my second time at this diner as the first time a little over a year ago was just OK. We stopped in for lunch and this time had an excellent lunch. Our server was very good and my turkey club sandwich was excellent. The restaurant is very clean. This visit - very good food and very good service.

If the experience weren't so bad, I would have preferred to forget about it. It was a 90-degree day and after spending the day selling Antiques At the Eastern State Prison flea market in Philadelphia , my selling partner and I were giving up our gluten free diets and pulling out all the stops:comfort food, lots of it and dessert. On... More

I had ever eaten here before but my brother and other half has and so this was my first time. When you walk in the hostess stand just as you enter and then the dessert case. On your left is a table right at the register where home grown homemade products for sell. Everything that is grown in the area... More

Stopped in for lunch on our way back from the Pine Barrens. Tasty lunch, good prices, friendly service. We did not try the desserts but they looked amazing!

Stopped in here for a bite today. I was seated and immediately noticed a waitress at the bar with a customer she apparently knew well. They were discussing the news of the day, and all the local gossip. I sat and waited patiently for some kind of acknowledgement...... 1 minute.....2 minutes.....3 minutes.....on she chatted, until her customer split, at the... More
