This place is wonderful! A very fancy and special dining experience, but without feeling stuffy. The grounds are wonderful and I highly recommend arriving here before sunset, so you can enjoy the spectacular views. The food was highly creative (especially the "olive" amuse!) and flavorful....The restaurant did an excellent job of catering to dietary requirements without compromising on flavor or plating. I had high expectations, and the restaurant more than lived up to them. We also went to La Colombe proper in Cape Town and, while also superb, we preferred La Petite Colombe.More

A wonderful show. Beautiful presentation but there were only one or two dishes i would want to have again. Largely one dimensional flavors despite all the long list of ingredients. Not one course was a wow except for the show. And service had an off...night.More

For a special dining experience, Le Petite Colombe is a must visit. True artistry in preparing and presenting unique and delicious food amidst the beautiful gardens of the Leeu Estates wine estate. Too delicious and beautiful to describe!

The most wonderful dining experience ever! From the minute you walked in the door you were treated like royalty. The ambience was simple, but elegant, with a beautiful view of the lovely gardens with the mountains in the background. The service was fantastic - attentive,...accommodating to specific requests and very friendly. The food was out of this world , not only in flavor but the presentation was stunning, it was like you were eating a piece of art! I tried things I would not have usually ordered, and was pleasantly surprised. We had the reduced winter menu for lunch. The variety of tastes was fantastic and the small portion sizes allowed me to taste everything and fully satisfied without feeling "stuffed". Highly recommend to treat yourself, you will not regret it.More

Stunning location on Leeus Wine Estate Franschoek. Service impeccable Restaurant decor and ambience wonderful Tasting menu with wine pairings totally amazing… every course just brilliant We’ve eaten at numerous Michelin starred restaurants in Europe and would rate this place up amongst the best. Pricey for...South Africa but cheap compared to European prices. No hesitation in recommending dining here if you can get a table.More

A group of friends along with my husband and I had the opportunity to enjoy an exceptional experience. One can’t call it a lunch because it would be selling it short. The food was to die for, the thought that has gone into the perfect...preparation of each dish, along with the thought into the selection of cutlery and decor. The service was out of this world and the wine parings done by the sommelier were perfect. Great wine list with massive range. If I could afford it I would be having lunch there on a daily basis. It is a must try at least once In your life. Once again the La Colombe group setting the standards for local fine dining restaurants as well as international restaurants.More

We had an issue getting in the restaurant due to security nonsense which made us 30 minutes late to our booking, very disappointing however we appreciate the effort the restaurant went through to allow us to dine. The evening hadn’t started out amazing however the...amazing service and food had genuinely saved the night. Wouldn’t go there again due to the security nonsense we delt with in the beginning thus rating it 4 stars, however food and service was beyond amazing. One or two of the bigger courses were a bit salty however still delicious.More

Location: Of all their restaurants, this one certainly had the most beautiful view. It is situated on an Estate that you should explore a little bit. Food: It was an absolute pleasure lunching here! As with every La Colombe restaurant, you should go with the...full Chef’s Experience, it’s worth it. One highlight was enjoying the first course (delicious and surprising) in the hall and then being taken to the table. People: The service was good. - If the weather is good, you should sit outside. - There is a little garden accessible from inside the restaurant, you can have your dessert served here.More

This was an incredible culinary experience. Attentive and friendly staff. Possibly slightly rushed in the first few courses but every morsel of food served was delicious and the wine pairings were all exciting and different. We were very well looked after and feel this is...an experience you cannot miss if visiting FranschhoekMore
