Stopped through Cuba, NM for the first time on our way to Los Alamos and wasn't sure what to eat for lunch. I found El Bruno's on TA and it was listed on the New Mexico green chile cheeseburger trail too. My plan was to get a green chile cheeseburger but once I saw the menu I had to try... More

We drive through Cuba often, going from Durango to Santa Fe. We literally time our trip so that we can have lunch at El Bruno's. We love the food, the environment , and the wonderful wait staff. We've become regulars!

Visting Chaco Canyon and staying in the countryside near Cuba, NM, we needed to find a place at which to "nosh" for dinner. Did some reviewing online - and El Bruno's popped up as #! - didn't expect much in "out-of-the-way" Cuba...but, went there anyway. What a neat surprise - the place is HUGE...clean, welcoming, great food (and lots of... More

Authentic atmosphere and Mexican cuisine. We had the chile stew and fajita tacos. I enjoyed the chile but was too hot for my wife. Pleasant experience and good service st a reasonable price.

I always hit this spot on the way to or from Albuquerque. Came here tonight with family and friends. Always get the guac. Hand crafted next to your table with the fresh, clean fixins you choose. Everything is made in house. Traditional New Mexican cuisine. Must bueno!

The restaurant is off the beaten path(sort of). On a busy road, but not near anywhere. Don't let that stop you from stopping-It will be well worth it. The building is lovely spanish style. The inside is wonderfully decorated. It feels very warm and inviting. But the star of the show is the food. Fresh ingredients, combined just right. The wait staff... More

My husband and I had a nice Mexican lunch one Saturday on the way to do wine tasting at the Ponderosa Winery. The food was average and the service was fine.Wish the food had been a little better.Would like to have been able to sit outside.

We had planned to spend the night in Cuba but decided to drive on ... We stopped for dinner at El Brunos and were delighted! The margueritas were great and generous (we were not the driver) LOL! The fajita salad had top of the line meat, the trout was great and everyone was thrilled. The courtyard is lovely, the wait... More

Lovely little restaurant in the remote little town of Cuba. Had dinner here the night before a trip into Chaco Canyon. The menu is extensive... I had a burrito because I wasn't real hungry, but the entrees and plate dinners looked great. If the weather is nice be sure to sit out back on their patio under the trees. Really... More

I had dinner at El Bruno's on the recommendation of the desk clerk at the Frontier Motel where I was staying. The service was great and the food was the real deal served in a wonderful atmosphere. I had the blue corn enchiladas which were great, wash that down with a couple of Santa Fe Nut Brown Ales and all... More
