Excellent coffee, homemade pastries. The barista is friendly and accommodating for any special requests or to answer any questions. Nice outdoor area with tables if weather permits. The coffee is absolutely the best!

I enjoyed my coffee at The Coffee Spot. I also had a cookie with my coffee. The cookie was just ok, but I was there for the coffee, not the cookie so that wasn't a big deal for me. I think if you're in the area you should give it a try.

Loved this eclectic coffee house. Service was outstanding and the menu extensive if one wants more than just a coffee or latte. Tried the New Mexican one...expresso, cinnamon, chocolate, caramel. I expressed it sounded good but was afraid it was would overly sweet; the barista was gracious enough to cut down the syrups to make it just right. Locals sitting... More

Service was great , coffee was ok, however very very overpriced paid 6.50 for 20 ounce Mexican latte. A regular cup was 3.00, I did note that you could save .50 by bringing your own cup.

A place where the locals hang out and the visitors frequent. This is one of my favorite local hangouts in Taos. When cash is scarce and you want the best food, coffee and service...this is your place. The coffee is very good as the barristers are experienced. The extensive menu is breakfast and lunch based and my favorites are the... More

I do not drink coffee, but my spouse and daughter are rabid for it. That said, they don't suffer bad coffee. While in Taos, they stopped here frequently, had a variety of coffees, and couldn't and wouldn't stop raving. My thing was digging the hipsters and counting the piercings. To each his own, I guess.

while the food was good the ambience was fantastic. A very unassuming and relaxing place to eat. I recommend you try it

The coffee here is fresh and strong. The furniture is uncomfortable and the other clientele is often unkempt and sketchy. My recommendation is to get your beverage to go and scoot outta there. Never tried the food so I can't comment.

Small joint, but excellent service, food and tea/coffee drinks. You order at a counter and they bring your food to you. We were there for breakfast, and they are pretty big portions.

Interesting would be an overly optimistic term, when used to describe The Coffee Spot. Overall the environment was slightly dirty and crowded, service was slow, and I found a hair in my food. I would not recommend The Coffee Spot to anyone, especially not to tourests. I apologize for not taking pictures to post.

Serving made to order breakfast and lunch from 6am to 3 pm every day. Gluten free and vegan dishes are available. Fresh pastries daily. Pies by the slice or special order. Very strong Taos Roasters coffee. Perfectly made espresso drinks, Two Leaves and a Bud tea, home made chai and Ghiradelli Hot Chocolate.
