This is THE best New Mexican food we have ever eaten and we do consider ourselves to be experts on the subject! We drive 3.5 hours one way just to eat there. Best salsa and chips of all time.

More great food @ Orlandos! The steak is great as well as their typical New Mexican dishes. Service is always prompt & courteous.

This was such a great experience but the only way we were going to try it was on a "to go" basis. Everytime we drove past the place the lot was full, a good indication of how others felt. We finally tried the "Blue Taco"...More

This place was recommended by locals, so we were super excited to try. My family is from NM, but this was our first time back in a few years. We were craving NM food, so it was our first restaurant in Taos. Unfortunately, 8 of...More

After a disappointing meal at the top rated New Mexican restaurant in town we tried Orlando's the next day. Wow, what a difference! Food, service and everything about it was wonderful! Best relleno ever!

Yes, we saw the T-shirt: New Mexico -- it's not new and it's not Mexico. But we ate twice at Orlando's in one week outside Taos, and we deem its fare a true representation of the state's cuisine. Go for it.

It's not. We were bummed! We found other restaurants that are. Bella's, Martyr's & La Cueva. Good Luck. We're coming down with our pooches in June 2017. Also, I read that Bent's Cafe allows dogs on the patio.
