We stopped here for breakfast before hitting the road for home. Just a real nice community diner with good service and friendly staff.

This is very much a locals' eatery in the best sense. The portions are huge especially when you order the ham and eggs...it is half a thick ham steak...amazing. My breakfast burrito was really large and I couldn't even eat half of it. This is...More

an extensive, inexpensive menu. Some of us ate the Mexican specialities which were excellent. The blueberry pancakes were outstanding! A good place to stop if en route from Taos to Los Alamos.
We had breakfast at Big Dawgs on our way to El Santuario in Chimayo. The service was excellent. We enjoyed learning more about the man known as Big Dawgs who was a well-liked coach in our community. The food was very good.
