Usually can rely on Panz for decent food and good service, but today turned that all around 1. No silverware on table had to ask repeatedly and finally got my own from another table. Never brought water glasses for the water pitcher on table 2. Carne adovada (which they charge an Outrageous $17 for and I got 5 small pieces.... More

This is probably the 12th yearly dinner here at Panz Alegra and it is always so satisfying. We came here when we traveled from Spokane, WA each summer and are one coming again yearly from Las Cruces. The food is consistently good and the don!'t skimp. My husband always has the rib eye steak and I have chicken parmigiana. When... More

Went here for dinner and we were not alone :) This place seems to be popular by the locals - and that's a good sign. Food and service was goos but the seats were a little worn.

We spent a long day in Albuquerque before driving to Gallup. This restaurant was recommended by the hotel so we hurried over because they take the last order at 9 pm. Service was quick and friendly. The food was typical Mexican fare with rice and beans. I got chicken fajitas, my colleagues both got a steak dish. All were good.... More

Delicious Mexican food, served quickly and with a smile. ithe pleasantly dimmed dining rooms feature comfy booths, with a busy local trade. Good salsa, with a little kick. Vegetarians, take note: I'm pretty sure that the green chile sauce has meat in it.

This place was recommended for good "New Mexican" eats. Hit it on a Monday night, no reservations required, and we were seated promptly. Friendly service, but had to wait a long time for warm beer. Something about the refrigeration unit? Tiny portion of chips and salsa, but more was available, for a price. This was my first experience with the... More

Our hotel front desk recommended this place. We arrived into town around 8pm and this was one of the few restaurants that's open late. They have a mix of American, Italian, and Mexican. The food was decent, salsa was good. The wait staff could have been speedier, but they were friendly none the less. [If you are from the Dallas... More

Stopped here at the suggestion of the front desk clerk. We wanted something that wasn't fast food, where we could get a drink, and relax after a long day of driving. This fulfilled all of that. The chips and salsa brought to the table are some of the best I've ever had. The salsa had a nice spicy bite. We... More

We were driving through and staying town one night. We wanted some good local Mexican food. The front desk at our hotel recommended this place and said we couldn't go wrong. It certainly was not a place we would have picked on our own, but overall we were satisfied. The food had good flavor but was not hot. Service was... More

Mexican food was fair, plus there were several Italian items on the menu. Maybe stick to one cuisine?
