The food at Jerry's was authentic new Mexican at a ridiculously good price. Make sure whatever you get, it comes with sopapillas! They're are amazing and fresh. The guacamole was also great. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming. For the price point I couldn't fault it.

Found this location from Trip Advisor. It's not on the beaten path as you travel through Gallup on I-40 but is worth mapping; it's one block off historic route 66. The location is rather small and was clearly a locals', joint though everyone was friendly. I ordered the stuffed sopapilla with Christmas (red and green chili) sauce and left "stuffed".... More

This restaurant has wonderful local Mexican/Southwestern meals. I would not recommend the tacos simply because the beef was ground, not shredded, but my husband had the chicken burrito and could not stop raving about it. We'll definitely try Jerry's again. I should mention that if you're looking for an elegant atmosphere, this is not the place for you ... it... More

Found this place on a recommendation from our motel desk clerk. We like to eat local and this was fun and delicious, especially since it was the weekend of a festival and there was music and dancing in the streets. Plentiful parking and great service, even though we were their last customers (closes at 9). No rush and very good... More

This is New Mexican food - spicy and yunny! Read about it in a travel book and decided to try it. The place is tiny, in a automotive repair section of Gallup - and it was hopping the entire time we were there. I ordered a stuffed sopapilla - ground beef and guacamole, with red sauce. Needed some sour cream... More

Delicious food and friendly staff and fast service! Hubby had chicken fried steak and I had Miguel's special. Both were great. Wish they were close to where we live!

Fabulous authentic Mexican food, run by the same family for decades, Jerry's Cafe serves up some of the most delicious food I have ever had! The green chile is a must order on whatever dish you get as it is sublime. The restaurant is small so get there early and don't be put off by the" hole in the wall"... More

We had a wonderful lunch here. We both had combination platters and everything was wonderful. There was construction outside, so we had to walk a bit to get there, but it was worth it. Service was efficient. Salsa was great. Chips were not good, but the rest of the meal more than made up for it. We had cheese enchilada,... More
