We have been going to Highway 4 Coffee off and on since they opened and always loved it. We stopped by to buy one of their fresh, homemade baguettes that have always been wonderful. When I got home I found an extremely stale, previously frozen and freezer-burned loaf. What a disappointment!!!!! Have the owners changed? The place also looked slightly... More

I was out exploring and in need of a drink. This place in Jemez Springs had some great coffee and I grabbed a chocolate chip cookie as well. Great friendly staff that took care of me quickly. The place was busing with local activity and conversation. The bathrooms were clean.

Stopped for a latte after a morning run. Got there just as it was opening. Friendly guy working the counter and great recommendations for local hikes from customer while waiting.

delicious pastries, good New Mexican breakfast, but the coffee was among the worst we have ever had. Tasted like they made their "espresso" drinks with canned supermarket coffee.

We just happened to be hungry for lunch when we drove through Jemez Springs. We saw the Highway 4 Cafe and turned in. What a good move! We shared a ham and cheese sandwich. It came with a platter of fries. These fries were great. Crispy on the outside and soft and hot on the inside. The ham and cheese... More

The food here is excellent! The staff is friendly and provided a couple of recommendations for us. We sat on the patio to eat our lunch and enjoy the breeze. We will be back for breakfast - the pastries look amazingly tasty!

This small cafe in the beautiful hamlet of Jemez Springs is the perfect spot for a quick pick me up,a simple sweet snack or a casual lunch. We stopped on our way to visit the Jemez historic site,it's also close to the hot springs and town bathhouse. Great spot for a coffee or tea as well!

Tables dirty, Food was reheated in the microwave ...the enchiladas were cold inside. Saw the girl putting the chocolate cake under a glass dish licking her fingers more than once and then she smiled at me...I was done...the young man kept apologizing...gave us free cheesecake and fries...Locals said this was the best in Jemez. I'll cook myself from now on.

I live about one hour east of this coffee shop, so I have visited it a few times. Overall, the pastries and coffee are consistently good. I visited this coffee shop on a Saturday morning, around 10 a.m., and the wait - after standing in line and ordering food - was about 30+ minutes. My husband and I left without... More
