There were 5 of us visiting Lincoln for the day and had lunch here. I had the chili and beans with cornbread and it was great. Others had chicken salad sandwich and pulled pork. Everyone liked their choice. They had a big selection of deserts which we did not try. Sage provided us with good service and some history about... More

My husband loves the history of Lincoln, so it was no surprise when he wanted to go there for his birthday. We enjoyed visiting the museum and other historic sites. Then we noticed that the Dolan House was a Restaurant as well as a Bed and Breakfast. Decided to stop for lunch and we were not at all disappointed. Wonderfully... More

We were visiting Lincoln and decided to have lunch at The Dolan House. Not only was the food phenomenal, but the history of the place was fascinating. Don't skip dessert here, it's worth the calories!

The dinning room is part of a home build over a century ago. Lien table clothes and very friendly service.

Had a nice lunch. I had the stew & cornbread which was good. My husband & son had the pill cheese steak which they said was good. I think the best part however was the conversation with the owners about the history of the home. Very nice owners who care about your experience.

The Dolan house is in the middle of the town of Lincoln and sits acroos the street from the Sweeney place. You've seen it in the movies, but here you can see it for real. Just as it was in the Lincoln County War. If you are going to be in the neighborhood, read up on the Lincoln County War... More

We had a great lunch experience here. Three of us got the beef stew and one got the chicken salad sandwich. The stew was outstanding served with corn bread. For dessert we had the bread pudding with bourbon sauce some of the best bourbon sauce I have ever had. Put this one on your to go list!

Perfect blend of ingredients making a flavorful chili without having to add a lot of heat. Accompanied by cornbread , it made a filling meal in an unexpected location.

While we had opted to stay at the Wortley we did want to also experience this historic home while we were in town. It is a B&B but their dining area is also open to the public and serves café style from a hand written menu on a white board. I had the chili and cornbread which was surprisingly mild... More

Description
Built in 1883, The Dolan House is nestled in the beautiful Rio Bonito Valley in the famous town of Lincoln, New Mexico - brought to fame by the Lincoln County War and Billy the Kid, who roamed the surrounding area and broke out of the near by jail. In 2007 we purchased and renovated this historical house making a small restaurant serving home made American and Mexican food and lots of home made desserts. We also have a gift shop selling antiques, jewelry, leather goods, souvenirs, specialty teas and snacks. We are open for breakfast and lunch.
