Fantastic beer, great servers, and a casual atmosphere in an authentic Western location. What more could one ask for? The best venue for bands too, with both local musicians and pass-through bands. It's a bit of a misconception to rate the Colfax Ale Cellar as...More

Great home pub atmosphere... come by and relax with a locally crafted beer (right here in the cellar)... or have a glass of New Mexico wine 🍷 feels like cheers 🍻 and tastes great. No real food, but you can order in from the local...More

Great crowd, great bands and awesome specialty brews! Love the orange wit! One of those places where everyone knows your name. Extremely friendly owners and staff.

A pleasure to come in for a lovely beer, friendly service and small town atmosphere! We need a Pub Quiz Night - all money goes to local charities.

The beer is good here, but the atmosphere is really dead. No music even during the Christmas season. They could use TV's or something to look at besides the walls. How about a juke box to liven it up ? What a shame in such...More

We're glad you enjoy the beer. Sorry we weren't hopping during your visit. We always play music, so I don't know why that wasn't the case during your visit. We hope you give us another try -- we'd be happy to give you a discount...More

They have a nice selection of beers and also feature NM wines. Food can be ordered from Bruno's, a pizza, salad and wings place around the corner. And the resident dog is sooo sweet.

When this place first opened it was a good place to have a beer. (See previous, and only review.) Lately there has been a strange teetotaler vibe present. A sign says no more than 3 pints per person allowed. Their 22 oz. bottled beer says...More

Colfax Ale Cellar is a great place to have a beer... just ask our regulars. And, yes, it's true that we take our responsibility of not over-serving to heart. We lived over 20 years in Albuquerque in which all the breweries post, "Please respect our...More
