We enjoy eating at Brett's Bistro when we have a quiet evening and the desire for "fancy" food. The desserts are exceptional and the waitress does want to please each customer.

Had a fantastic patty melt and fries for lunch at this cute little restaurant in Red River. Although most of the shops and other restaurants were closed during my visit (due to the slow season), I enjoyed walking through town and seeing the sights...especially the store selling "Jesus Stuff" and Mike's Fun Place with Pepe the Bull!

Very surprised to find this in Red River. Make reservations since it is a very small bistro. Maria is a wonderful waitress. The Elk and Lamb are amazing. Great steaks. They know how to prepare the meats well. The trout was pretty good also. Get the fried oyster and sautéed mushroom appetizers. Fresh house salad. Minimal wine selection but good... More

A tad more 'upscale' place for Red River with reasonable prices. Good service. Lovely atmosphere, was able to stay here and chit chat with friends at length. Food was good, but not overly memorable (I can't recall what I had!)

We went here for lunch one day. The food was average. I had the chicken fried steak and my husband had the catfish.

Excellent trout. A little pricey but food was good. The trout was cornmeal crusted and very crispy. The fish was flakey.

Good food. Great place for lunch with the family, however, the cook refuses to serve food off the kids menu to anyone older than 12. A $28 huge chicken fried steak that can feed 3 vs a $9 kids chicken fried steak that can feed one adult was not approved by the cook. Left overs that I couldn't keep due... More

LOVED THIS PLACE. We went first week in December, ski season hasn't quite started. Brett's was open and we were so glad. The service and food were above and beyond. I had the shrimp fettuccine. My husband had chicken fried steak, you can't go wrong with either! So much food, had to take home the leftovers. Folks give them a... More

We were in town for Thanksgiving this year. Chose Brett's Bistro, mainly because we always eat here when in town. Wonderful dinner, well priced. Plenty of food, we had leftovers to take with us. Would highly recommend.

I wasn't really sure how we would like this place because there were so many others with higher ratings. It was Thanksgiving evening and we didn't have many options. We were very pleased with our decision. Had the trout and prime rib- both excellent choices. Highly recommend this little find!
