Had a great dinner here! You should probably get reservations and make sure you order the lemon pie. So, so good!

When we finished eating I was prepared to give a four to a five rating, however I always believe that if a meal is good it should not hit you again in a couple of hours. The chicken fried chicken made me sick about two hours after eating it. enough said. It tasted great, all the foods tasted good, vegetables... More

We ate here on our last visit to Ruidoso and enjoyed the meal immensely. The flat iron steak was great, the pork porterhouse excellent, and there were many other excellent aged beef items on the menu. The staff was very helpful with our children and we were not looked down on or made to feel like we weren't wanted while... More

Picked this restaurant based on the reviews on this site and it was terrible! We are from Texas and maybe that had something to do with the disappointing steaks but the rest of the meal was horrible as well. The mushrooms were very terrible! Not sure how you mess up sautéed mushrooms but they did! The green beans were flavorless... More

Friends/family birthday dinner. Nice place - cowboy, but not HeeHaw-Cowboy Bob. Same refined old-time gentleman's steakhouse feeling like you used to get at Cattleman's Steakhouse at Ft. Worth's stockyards. Great beef - naturally - and accompanying sides make you consider becoming a vegetarian ... try the bone-in rib-eye. Wow. Wear your elastic wasteband pants. The surprise here??? Decadent, GrandMa's deserts... More

We make a trip to Ruidoso every year or two - the Texas Club is always on our itinerary for a nice night out and a great meal. The food is good and service is great. We enjoy the atmosphere as well.

Good price point. We had a delicious appetizer bacon wrapped deep fried chicken livers. I had a ribeye that was tender delicious rare. My wife had a rare filet. The service was excellent. It's a friendly place the locals go and you could do a lot worse. Not on the beaten path, trust your GPS. Plenty of parking and a... More

Decent steaks. Probably better than most. Just not as good as I have had in the past. This place seems to change as far as quality every visit. The star although cooked medium rare was dry. Like it was reheated. Disappointed but will try again next time
