I chose the Alley Cantina because I could get a 4 oz. green chile cheeseburger here and not have to whale on a whole half pound of meat. The portion was perfect, the fries were delicious, and the people-watching was outstanding. On the comeback list.

We had stumbled into this place a year ago and the service had been great and so was the food. The green chile cheeseburger is fantastic and my wife had loved the enchiladas. The food was still good but the service was bad. My wife and I have both worked as wait staff and I have cooked and brother in... More

Food in Taos is good. The restaurants offer a variety of food choices at moderate prices. This spot served 18 of us in a private room.

This place was pretty cool. The building seems authentic New Mexico adobe style and houses a bar and restaurant. The food was very good and seemed a great opportunity to sample some New Mexican style food. Me and my husband would definately go back.

From the East coast visiting family in Colorado. Spent the day before in Santa Fe and went to Taos the next day. Somewhat disappointed. Taos does not compare. Saw The Alley Cantina and thought it looked interesting. The minute I opened the door I knew we made a mistake. It smelled awful, dark and dirty. I wanted to leave after... More

We stopped in for supper and to check it out, and were most pleasantly surprised. It is not a large restaurant located just off the main plaza. The food and the service were good. I had the chili cheese burger and my girlfriend had the enchiladas. It was a fun evening and we will be back again.

This restaurant is in a cute location, on a side street off the Plaza in Taos. We stopped for a bite on our way to Santa Fe. The inside has old charm bordering on tired. The menu was pretty ordinary Mexican food. We are gluten-free which is usually easy to adapt in restaurants with this type of cuisine but it... More

Very good New Mexico style food in a fun atmosphere. We played pool before we ate and table shuffleboard after we ate. Food and beer were excellent and the service was friendly and fast.

This wonderful place is a little historic hole in the wall at the far end of an alleyway in Taos. The food is excellent, came out quickly and portions were generous. The staff is friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. We were so glad to stop here and eat dinner. Bar is well stocked too! The prices... More

We were recommended to this place by some locals as there was a live band that was playing late after the kitchen closes down. We had a great time. The band was awesome and the place was packed with locals and tourists alike. Met people from all over the world and interacted with some very friendly locals which can be... More
