Quick service, but served on plastic plates. Good choice of meals. Its the only place to eat on whites City, so no real choice besides driving to carlsbad.

Not bad, not great. The place was empty, but it was off season on a cloudy day. Food wasn't worth the price, but for it being the only place to eat in a one-horse town, it was fine.
Food was ok, but not anything special, service was pretty good. Wish they were open later, we had to shorten our time at the caverns to make it before closing. Fried ice cream is not fried ice cream, it was served as just a sundae...More
We went early afternoon around 2pm and both ordered the chicken fried steak meal. It came with mashed potatoes, green beans and rolls. It was delicious! I was worried after reading the reviews but the food and service were both great!
We had lunch at Carsbad Caverns Resturant. It was OK but a little pricy for the quality of the food. No other place to eat at the caverns so you could eat before you go or have a light meal at a lower price.
Well on the good side, they really do seem to be trying their best, and the food is edible, err and that's it. So on the minus side, they are understaffed, when we showed up no tables were available, not that they were full but all...More
Restaurant empty. Horrible service. 15 minutes to get drinks. All food was frozen or from a box. Flautas were boxed taquitos. $50 for $5 worth of food. I've been in restaurant business for 18 years. This place all round deserves a -10. Restaurant empty for...More
The food was blah, the service wasn't any better and the prices were high. I guess you can survive like that when you are the only game in town. Not a lot of dining choices in the area. $17 for 12 chicken wings.
The food was excellent and service was very good. Please be aware this restaurant is not open several days a week so call ahead because there is not anywhere else to eat in Whites City. The visitors center at Carlsbad Caverns does have a cafe...More
