Great place for lunch to have some kosher dogs and knish's. Pea soup is out of this world as well as their chicken dish which is sons of tasty and tender. Lots of kosher delights and pastrami sandwhiches and don't forget the cream soda!!! Very...More

To be honest, there aren't many Kosher Deli's in the area! The food was good, with ample portions and quality. There were about 20 people there when we visited, and all looked like they were enjoying their meals. The service was hectic and somewhat erratic...More

Great Kosher deli! Fantastic chicken noodle matzo ball soup, and excellent pastrami. Rreally great turkey meatloaf sandwich, too. In spite of Kosher delis not being "in" right now, Buddy's was completely full when I was in there on a Saturday for lunch.

Except for the prices, the food gives me memories of my childhood days in Brooklyn. The corned beef sandwich was lean and wonderful. When you sit down a generous portion of Cole slaw and full sour pickles awaits you. The sandwich is loaded with delicate...More

Kosher delis are truly a dying breed. Due to demographics and economics it is impossible for them to survive, even here in NYC. This place is the real deal offering fresh authentic fare for a reasonable price. This restaurant is family owned and run. The...More

This Deli has been in existence for more than 30 years. Unfortunately this establishment has a hard time since Kosher Deli's are a dying breed. Our neighborhood now is about 60% Asian. The food is good. They are also very good for catering an affairs....More

There was a time when you could find several Kosher Deli's in just about every neighborhood of NYC, Sadly that is no longer the case. Buddy's is one of only a small hand full left in Queens, and it's a very very good one.The food...More

Unfortunately I have no idea. It appeared to be OK, but I did not look for any "official" seal or symbol.
