There was a power outage in all of Cobleskill the night I and 5 of my companions made the last minute decision to eat here on a busy Harvest Fest weekend. It will not be a place we will ever visit again. There was only one other table and we called before arriving and made reservations at this restaurant it... More

We found the Tryon Inn accidentally last year on an extended ride down route 20. We were looking for a place to eat and took a chance on route 166. Are we glad we did ! We were so pleased with our " discovery" that we made it a point to go back this fall, recreating our ride. The food... More

Took a chance and just got off highway 20 and checked out Cherry Valley. The only place we could find to eat was the Tryon Inn and bar. They were out of hamburgers...hmm. We ordered some alternatives and simple ones at that. Some time later, a long time, we finally recieved our food. It was pretty good flavor, standard french... More

I'll start off by saying this place was a Plan B because of a power outage in Cobleksill. We didn't know of many places that could take six people for dinner on no reservations. The food took over an hour to come out, and the burger that was ordered was raw. Also a side salad that we ordered was never... More

Happened in on Meatloaf Special night and got a great surprise. It was SPECIAL!!! A unique taste and texture, and totally delicious. Great mashed potatoes and a veggie, all at low price. A good selection of beers, also at low prices. And a super bartender (Hi Heather). What more could anyone want? Hurry in.

A wonderful dinner served outdoors at an historic inn located in an historical little village near Cooperstown, New York. This restaurant is a gem serving reasonably priced delicious food and out of the world desserts. The service was exceptional and the owner, Debbie, greeted each and every guest upon arrival. She also made a point of stopping by all the... More

We stopped by on Friday night for the fish fry. It was clear that the real happening part of the restaurant was the bar in the back. The dining room in the front was relatively empty. The food was good and served promptly. The beer selection was quite limited given the local brews that are available in the area. Mostly... More

A beautifully restored building in historic Cherry Valley offers meadow and mountain views from the patio. Excellent service and delicious fresh food will make this a definite stop on our next trip to the area.

The things that should be cold were cold. The things that should be hot were hot.All six of us needed wheel chairs to get out we were so full. Great service and it was nice to see the chef stop by our table after dinner. Home made desserts were great. Pleasant and cozy.
